Thank you for stopping by SAPeople’s Tasty Recipes section, where you can find well-crafted wholesome South African recipes and international recipes!
Welcome to my kitchen…
My name is Fazila Olla-Logday and I love to cook. As much as I love to eat, read cookbooks, go shopping and host dinners for family and friends, I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and of course talking about food.
I am not a professional chef but I have been cooking since I was 10-years-old! This site is my humble attempt at recording time-tested recipes, some of which have been created by me, my family and friends.
I hope you enjoy making the recipes as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Through this site I hope to share my enthusiasm for cooking and perhaps convince a few people that anyone can cook a great meal and enjoy it too! Thank you for visiting Tasty Recipes and I hope you will return again and again.
I’d love to hear what you think, and if you would like, feel free to leave constructive feedback in the comments box. Please restrict comments to those that are applicable to the topic at hand, so that they are useful to other visitors to the site.
The Inspiration behind our Recipes
Tasty Recipes is completely devoted to wholesome cooking and does not favour a particular cuisine because for me it’s all about flavour and good food.
The recipes shown here use mostly wholefood ingredients and only occasionally a few things from cans. We believe in a varied, healthy diet, using real butter, real cream, eggs, lots of green vegetables, and protein from meat, fish, beans, and cheese.
Tasty recipes is a reflection of how I cook and although many recipes are very healthy, we do not provide the nutritional information for each recipe as we do not have the expertise to provide this analysis!
